Jonah West

Jonah is a first-year Economics student at Western University. He brings a broad knowledge of the relationship between finance and technology, leveraging his experience in software development at TBSM.
An avid investor, Jonah’s interest in private markets was spurred by several on-campus clubs at Western. As a Researcher in Western Investment Club, Jonah has contributed to several stock pitches, from ideation to presentation. His position as an Author in the Western Algorithmic Trading Club’s Publications Team has exposed him to the many trends that shape private markets. Jonah also holds the position of Junior Newsletter Contributor at the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing, where he shares his passion for value investing through writing.
As an Analyst at Hatley Capital Partners, Jonah is responsible for staying in touch with market trends, working behind the scenes to manage client relationships, and assisting team members in all capacities.
In his free time, Jonah enjoys reading. Some of his favourite books are biographies of entrepreneurs, politicians, and business leaders. He has also been a lifelong runner and gym enthusiast.
