Jennifer joined Hatley Capital Partners in Q1 2021, bringing over 10 years of experience in institutional capital markets & technology. Valuing long term client relationships, her robust network extends across the North American venture capital, family office & private equity landscape. Earlier in her career, she has worked for Scotia Capital, TD Bank and OTPP where she was a member of the Private Equity team at OTPP covering global PE funds across all sectors.

In 2016, TD Securities backed Jenn’s first venture as an entrepreneur – FinForum, which paired emerging companies in need of capital with institutional investors and capital providers. FinForum later became PureInvest, and through PureInvest, Jennifer became the Head of Capital Markets and Business Development for Delphia Inc. Very driven and outgoing, Jennifer was also the only Canadian nominated for the US-based Market’s Media Women in Finance Award & she was the recipient of Canada’s Women in Capital Markets Emerging Leaders Award in 2017.

Jennifer is a CAIA Charterholder and she received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, where she met her husband Paul. She is currently a Board Director for Link Investment Management, Nobul Corp, and serves on the University of Alberta’s Business Advisory Council. She is also the Founder of somm – a wine app that takes the guesswork out of picking the right wine, while intuitively connecting the retail buyer to incredible independent wine merchants, wineries and agencies. She is a total foodie at heart, loves her dogs, jazz piano, and tennis.
